This year, we’re introducing you to another, new concept for the Guest of Honor for AniNite: the Community Guest of Honor!
Who or what is that?
The Community Guest of Honor is a special person from our local convention community who is as unique as our community itself. This is a cosplayer, a musician, an artist or something else entirely.
And how do we find that special person?
YOU help decide, because our community guest of honor is also chosen by our community! This is done in two phases:
Phase 1: First, we collected all suggestions via mail and our social media accounts.
Phase 2: The five community honorary guests who have been suggested the most often, are now being presented to you here and you can vote for your favorite at the bottom of this page.

Misses Charmy
Hellas, I’m MissesCharmy and known for being a maniac at the sewing machine! I have been active in the scene since 2015, mainly as Harley Quinn or as the Red Queen but my spectrum of cosplays ranges from fanarts, to own designs / own characters, to characters from movies, TV and series – being mostly the Villians ;). I also love to play around with makeup! I’m easy to hype up – and like to infect others with my hype. If you need motivation you are at the right place with me, I will simply pull you along! I’m a full-time seamstress specializing in cosplay commissions, hosting workshops (#1Day1Cosplay) and streaming 3x a week on Twitch!
I’ve been seen on stage quite often and other than the 1st place at the ICCC last year, I’ve also won some cosplay contests in the years before. Performing in front of an audience is a lot of fun, be it at the X-Cosplay competition or a Lipsync Battle! I would be very happy to be the guest of honor at AniNite! If I could also be a juror for some competitions in the process, that would be a dream! Also, I could hold sewing workshops or compete again in a small sewing showdown on stage against other cosplayers 😉 (But let’s be honest: I would go on stage for almost anything XD). At this point, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for me, I am very honored that the community wants to have me as a guest of honor and I hope I can give you something in return!

Hi, I am Luna, cosplayer from Austria! First of all, thank you to everyone who nominated me to be the guest of honor! Conventions have a big place in my heart and to attend AniNite as a guest would be a dream come true for me! I have two workshops to present at the AniNite: ‘Styling wigs – simple tips and tricks’ and ‘Cosplay and social media – how to improve your sites’. Hopefully I was able to impress some of you and maybe we will see each other soon at the AniNite!
Yuuki Yomatsuki
Hi, I am Yuuki and am 28 years old. I have started cosplaying in 2013. I love to cosplay characters with cat or fox ears. That’s why my favorite character is Ahri. Even though I’m not particularly skilled with my hands, that never stopped me. I never lost the fun of cosplay because of that. For me, the greatest feeling is when I feel like my favorite characters.

It once happened in 2019 that two people found each other and thought “Yo, let’s create some cool content together :D”.
After 3 years of climbing ruins together, rolling around in the dirt, fiddling with all kinds of equipment, the one or other competition placement or magazine publication, these people then came up with the idea “If we already have so much fun together, and achieve such cool results with each other, why shouldn’t others be part of this?”.
And so Timeking Cosplay and Stjarna Silfur founded SilverTime Productions, a team that aims to combine the fun that has always made up this scene with great shooting results.
Aside from workshops and streams to make topics like photography and cosplay accessible to everyone, they are always trying to organize meetings where people get the opportunity to use great locations, collaborate with new photographers, get tips and tricks on makeup, as well as the most important thing, have a lot of fun.
Kikiko Banjo
Hey! I’m Julez, cosplayer by passion and I’m insanely happy that I was nominated as community guest of honor. I love to live out my creativity in the form of makeup, and transform myself into different characters through it. If you vote for me, I could offer workshops on cosplay makeup, but will also be happy to chat about tips & tricks at my booth for you.
