Box Office
You prepare entrance tickets and hand them out either for money or a valid QR code. You handle the simple checkout system, which means you don’t have to do a lot of math in your head. Underage cashier crew members (16+) can either help prepare tickets or scan the QR code, they do not handle money.
Decor
You are creative and want to take on the task of transforming the event pyramid into a paradise for otakus? Our main task is to make decoration elements, take them down before the AniNite, check them during the event and afterwards take everything down and pack them properly again. This way you can enjoy AniNite to the fullest and contribute significantly to the feel-good factor of the event!
Social Media
You like writing texts and you are not unfamliar with Photoshop? Then join our social media team! Here you can either write texts for our social media posts on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or create the graphics. Most of the work takes place before AniNite and mainly online via Discord almost every Sunday evening, so you can enjoy the convention.
Bar
You serve non-alcoholic-drinks and collect the money. You should at least be able to calculate whole euro amounts in your head. Since money is involved, the minimum age is 18 years.
Photographs
You like to take pictures? And you like to go to conventions to take pictures? Then this team is the right one for you! Here you can take pictures of visitors, the stage program, our crew, or anything else you can think of. Additionally, you can help us with our social media presence by shooting fun boomerangs or reels with the photography crew during AniNite!
Logistics
We make sure that the right material is in the right place at the right time in the right quantity. That means we receive demand reports from all areas and get all this and then bring it to the areas. We organize and manage the assembly and disassembly and provide the transport capacities. In short, without us, nothing would be where it belongs.
Entrance area
As part of this team, you’ll help out in the entrance area and direct visitors to the correct queues.
Security
The security team is present in all areas of the event, assisting visitors when problems arise and guaranteeing compliance with the house rules in force. The security team members are attentive and happy to help where needed.
Main activities: Ticket control, weapons control, control & surveillance of the event area.
All-Rounder
All-Rounders are used wherever helpers are needed. They are the perfect introduction to the crew as they can get a taste of every area. You’ll never be bored in this crew!
Cosplay Contests
You will assist cosplay contestants before and after their judging round or performance. Whether a lacing is too tight/loose, a drape of a cape needs to be fixed, or a staircase needs to be gotten – you’re on hand to help the individual cosplayer and keep track of the overall situation.
Guest of Honor support
You look after our guests of honor and make sure that they lack nothing. Whether it’s food service or security, you provide both in front of and behind the scenes.
Wardrobe
You helpfully look for a jacket or luggage and are always friendly, even under stress. You’ll sift through the dropped off items in the right place, making it easy to find them again.
Information booth
Here you’ll be the first to know everything or get the information you need yourself, because you’re sitting at the source and know who to ask! You’ll be a secret hero when you get to hand lost items to seekers, a lucky lady when noting contest entrants, an administrative assistant when managing workshop participants, and a distributor when selling AniNite merchandise!
Panelroom support
You will be in charge of our panel and workshop rooms and will be the first contact for the panelists or workshop leaders. At the beginning and end of a panel, you look into the panel room and prepare everything for the next panel.
Building services
Whether light, power or network. We make sure that everything can light up and everyone has electricity for their department. We are the backbone that can inconspicuously supply everything and keep it running.
Main & Second Stage
2 stages, 2 live streams, lots of program. None of this runs without technology. “Are the cables laid?” “Does everyone have a microphone that needs one?” “Are all the video projectors running?” “Can the AMVs be played?” “Can the show start?” You want to answer all these questions with a highly motivated “YES”? Then join this crew.
Maid Café – Maids / Kitchen
Maids
The well-being of our guests is your highest priority! With your winning personality, charm, service and little games (e.g. Croco Doc) you make our guests forget everyday life and feel good.
Kitchen
You like to prepare food and drinks creatively, you are skillful, organized and can work in a structured way. You keep a cool head even at busy times and your attention to detail ensures that every plate and glass comes to the guest perfectly.
Charity
You care about research and children’s well-being? But environmental awareness and resource conservation are also important to you? Then join the Charity Crew, we turn old into new, bring people together and support St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research with the money raised! Your tasks include selling raffle tickets and collaborative crafting for the DIY booth.
Goldticket Area
Your tasks are to keep the Goldenarea clean and cozy, to organize drinks from the bar and to fulfill the wishes of your guests concerning Teahouse, MaidCafe and workshop registrations.
